Rockwell employees and their families raised more than $2,600 to purchase supplies and then came together to assemble backpacks for children forced from their homes by the conflict in Syria. Each pack included school supplies, personal hygiene products and a blanket, as well as a personal note of encouragement. Six years of war has torn Syria apart. Hundreds of thousands have been killed and more than half of the population – 11 million people – have been displaced from their homes. Rockwell was eager to send a bit of hope to these refugee children and to include our children in serving others.
