SUMMER just got a lot better with the music of LITTLE FEAT!!!

Fort DuPont to host Fortify Music Fest on August 10th

If you like the music of Little Feat, Steely Dan and sounds of Southern Rock, then you are going to love the 2019 Fortify Music Fest!! Little Feat, on their national tour celebrating their 50th Anniversary, sometimes breakaway to play at smaller venues, have fun and jam.  They will becoming to Fort DuPont located in Delaware City on August 10th!

The music starts at 1pm and runs until 9pm. The 2019 Fortify Music Fest, will feature two of the best up and coming local artists, The Susquehanna Floods and Lovebettie. There will be some great southern rock classics provided by High Noon and in the late afternoon you can enjoy the extraordinary and iconic sounds of Steely Dan, played by Countdown to Ecstasy. The legendary music of Little Feat, performed by Funky Feat will close out the Fortify Music Fest. 

All of this great music for only $35 plus children under the age of 12 are free. Gates open at 12noon and in addition to the music, Fortify fans will enjoy a variety of culinary offerings from multiple food trucks and the Fortify Beer Garden will feature some great local craft beers from the Yards Brewery, Big Oyster, Blue Earl and other great beers and beverages.

The concert is held at Fort DuPont which provides a wonderful waterfront venue right on the Delaware River.With over 18 acres of free parking it is a short walk tree lined walk to the Fortify Music Fest concert site which is also next to  walking/hiking trails, a boat ramp and the entrance to the Mike Castle Trail, that runs along the C&D Canal.
